The first of four Thursday reading performances throughout April:-
Tonight: HH Munro's background was rather like Rudyard Kipling's as was his reaction to Edwardian Society which he saw a a coarse-grained world full of selfish and useless people. His stories include the satiric, supernatural and macabre and show a masked interest in the use of animals as agents of revenge upon mankind.
