co-edited Faber's 2003 101 Poems Against War. After The Boy on the Edge of Happiness, a 1996 Smith/Doorstop pamphlet, Ground Water (Bloodaxe, 2004) is his debut collection. …knowing, lyrical poetry… (Simon Armitage).
Ruth Padel has written a wildlife column for the Times and a poetry column for the Independent. Her last collection Voodoo Shop was shortlisted for Whitbread & T.S. Eliot prizes: The Soho Leopard (Chatto, 2004) is humorous, tender, flamboyant and unforgettable (Carol Rumens).
