Programmed Event - 29th August 2007

Doors 8pm

THE ISAAC HOWLETT BAND is a collection of talented musicians who deliver an uplifting, melodic sound, falling somewhere between REM, U2 and The Killers.

SCHUMANN THE HUMAN began his musical life with a brief stint in the mid 90's as guitarist for veteran punk/soul/country legend 'Vic Godard'. With influences ranging from The Modern Lovers to the genius of Lee Hazelwood this band plows its own peculiar furrow of pop/punk/country/bluegrass.

VICTORIA HUME A bit closer to Alt than Folk, Victoria has been compared to everyone from Joni Mitchell to Stereolab. Neither comparison seems especially accurate, so you may be better off listening to www.myspace.com/victoriahume. 'Intense retrospective pieces...spinning you out on sweet melodious breakdowns. Those sad songs that make you kinda happy.' DurbanScouts.co.za
'Elegant yet brooding and anguished slowcore' TimeOut 'A voice for the decade' Earbuzz

SIMON KITCHENER; "One of London's most exciting acoustic acts" London Gig Scene, "An electrifying live performer of quirky acoustic pop" Big Note London.

MARK CAMPBELL AND FRIENDS encompases a fusion of modern sounds from Jack Johnsson to Ben Harper. Acoustic stuff with a rocky edge.
