Alastair Sawdays is now offering Gift Cards available in denominations of £25, £50, £75 and £100 to be used at participating hotels and inns of which The Troubadour Garret is one. The perfect gift!
The most important feature of The Garret is a very large and comfortable Philippe Starck double bed (2.5m square). In addition antique furniture, a double sofa bed, kitchenette, high powered shower and free WiFi internet connection make this slightly more than your ordinary one-bed flat.
The Garret is a fully-serviced, secure haven. You can order room service from the cafe downstairs & Garret guests are automatically given a preferential rate, should they wish to entertain their guests at a drinks or dinner parties in the Gallery below - please indicate this may be a requirement when you book The Garret.
The Garret is a luxury, private and discreet space in a unique environment. You have your own private staircase to take you up to Earls Court’s best kept secret. It particularly suits visiting business people or artists and writers who are bored with mainstream hotels but who still demand a high standard of comfort with efficient and friendly service. The apartment is situated high above the surrounding buildings (please note - there is no lift!) with long Mary Poppins like views across the rooftops. Very little noise reaches this level from the Kensington & Chelsea bustle below. It is the perfect place to let the muse take you on a trip.
It would also suits a small group visiting London for a few days; the sofa in the sitting room pulls out into a small double bed and if required there is an additional blow up double bed, which instantly means that Mum, Dad and the kids can spend a couple of days in central London staying somewhere comfortable and memorable, which doesn't cost a fortune.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. There is a LCD TV with an integrated DVD player and free view channels. There are speakers for your ipod and a radio alarm clock to wake you in the morning. The bookshelves are stocked with a selection of novels and DVDs & CDs. There is a fully stocked mini bar at reasonable prices (most of which is in the fridge). In addition there is a good selection of complimentary teas, coffees and other goodies. The kitchen can be stocked according to your breakfast requirements (please give us 24 hours notice) or you can visit the Café for a cooked breakfast from 9am. There is a combination oven so that light 'eats' can be prepared and the Garret is equipped to serve dinner for four. The main point is that whatever you want you just need to ask!
The Garret is ready to go for those unplanned nights out; the bathroom is stocked with most things for the unprepared visitor, boy or girl.
